BAS Hardwood Floors offers a wide selection of wood floors. Many different species of wood are available and each has its own natural characteristics. We offer woods that are found here domestically, woods from Brazil and other parts of South America, African woods, and Asian species. Click on these swatches to see a larger image and description.
Floors are available in solid or engineered. Solid floors are nailed down to a plywood sub-floor. They are usually 3/4″ thick tongue and groove. They can be refinished several times throughout the years. Engineered floors are a veneer of wood over a 5 ply. They are to be glued down to a cement slab but can also be stapled to plywood. Ideal for basement installations. Prefinished floors come with a poly-urethane and aluminum oxide finish which gives the wood added durability. Remember, BAS offers quality wood floors at competitive prices that are hard to beat
